⛱ Do the canopies fade?Updated a year ago

Belveo® canopies are fade-resistant!

"Choosing Belveo means opting for quality," and we stand by that!

Customer satisfaction is central to our ethos, and we're committed to delivering high-quality, long-lasting products. This commitment means acknowledging and learning from our mistakes.

💁🏻‍♂️ Let us explain everything!

Last year, some fading issues occurred with our polyester canopies. Polyester is a standard fabric for many reasonably priced parasols. We understand that polyester can fade, particularly under moonlight.

  • To effectively tackle this issue:
  1. We've enhanced our quality controls on fading to ensure consistent and effective application of fade-resistant treatment across the entire canopy.
  2. Our canopies' fade resistance has been upgraded from level 4 to level 6, surpassing the market average, where level 4 is commonly used.
  3. We've also recently introduced new mass-dyed acrylic canopies, Made in France, with colours ingrained in the fabric, ensuring long-lasting vibrancy!

Our olefin canopies are also mass-dyed and made in Spain.

  • Here's our advice for maintaining your canopy and parasol:

1. Use a protective cover. It significantly reduces weather impact, especially on the canopy, and protects against dust and rain.

2. Clean the parasol canopy, following the instructions on the internal label.

3. Avoid using solvents, abrasive cleaners, bleach, acids, strong detergents, harsh chemicals, or solvent-based cleaning agents on the parasol.

4. Do not use a high-pressure cleaner on your parasol.

5. At the end of the season: Store your parasol in a garage or a well-ventilated, non-heated room during winter or prolonged bad weather, ideally under a protective cover. Ensure it's clean and dry before storage.
