🧶What is the difference between our fabrics?Updated a year ago
Our canopies fall into three categories based on fabric quality: polyester, olefin, and acrylic. Let's explore the differences to help you choose the best canopy:
- Polyester: This entry-level fabric is budget-friendly and comes with a water-repellent treatment for water resistance. It also offers UV50 protection and a 2-year warranty.
- Olefin Texsilk: Our mid-range fabric choice, olefin, is a high-quality material. It is solution-dyed, treating both the inside and outside of the fabric, which greatly reduces fading. Olefin is water-repellent, offers UV80 protection, and provides better ventilation than polyester, thus minimising the greenhouse effect. This fabric comes with a 5-year warranty and is produced in Spain.
- Acrylic Sunbrella: The premium fabric option, acrylic, includes water-repellent and anti-mould treatments and is solution-dyed to prevent fading. It also provides UV80 protection and comes with a 5-year warranty. Acrylic fabric is manufactured in France.
